Striking landscapes and a refined wine culture rarely come together as naturally as they do here — alpine peaks, quiet valleys and high-altitude vineyards at the crossroads of Italian and Austrian culture.

Trentino sits at the crossroads of the Latin and Nordic worlds, in the shadow of the Dolomites and the Brenta range. The result is a region unlike any other in Italy — castles and sanctuaries alongside wineries and family-run farms, all set against some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in Europe.

This journey moves through the region at an unhurried pace — by bicycle along quiet valley roads, through wineries, distilleries, and farms rarely open to visitors, with Marco Avigo guiding every step. It is Trentino as locals experience it, not as tourists do.
