The view from the road is only the beginning. This is one of the world’s most celebrated coastlines — and one of its most rewarding to explore beyond the postcard.

The journey is based in Sorrento, with excursions to the ruins of Pompeii, the island of Capri by private boat, and the street food culture of Naples. A pizza-making class, a limoncello tasting, and a mozzarella demonstration bring the region’s food traditions to life.

The final days follow the coast road itself — Positano, Ravello, Amalfi and Furore — ending at a cliffside winery with cellars carved into the rock. Marco Avigo hosts the journey throughout, with wines chosen for every dinner along the way.
